Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Anchorage, AK
Agency: Malone Healthcare

About the Position

Key Responsibilities

Provide speech language pathology services within an acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting
Perform and interpret Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
Document patient care and progress using the EPIC EMR system
Participate in a rotating weekend-heavy schedule as part of a collaborative therapy team
Float between acute care and inpatient rehabilitation areas as needed

Required Qualifications

Active Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility to practice in the state of Alaska
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an SLP
Must complete state of Alaska required fingerprinting and background check submitted through NABCS; traveler must be in provisional or cleared status prior to assignment start

Preferred Experience / Skills

Credentialed in both FEES and MBSS procedures
Experience with EPIC EMR
Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced hospital environment
